Course Details
TB01 -
General Users – Working with Mail & Documents
This course provides a basic introduction to the TeamBinder system,
covering the essentials of sending and managing mail in TeamBinder
and accessing, downloading and working with controlled documents. A
brief introduction to XL-Upload, QA Software’s proprietary bulk
upload utility for TeamBinder, is also covered.

This course provides a complete overview of working with controlled
documents in TeamBinder. The course begins with a management level
overview of Controlled Documents including methods of distribution
and access.
Topics covered include: Bulk Uploading of Documents, including using
XL-Upload; Working with Transmittals, from issuing to receiving
transmittals, revisions and reporting on transmittals; and Working
with Packages, following the ongoing management of a Tender Package
lifecycle in Teambinder, from release to award, as well as the
issue, distribution and management of Standard Packages.
Pre-requisites: Completion of course TB01
Duration: Full day
TB03 - Review and
Approval Process for Controlled Documents
This course works through the complete submittal, review workflow
and approval process for controlled documents.
Topics covered include: Restrained and Un-restrained documents,
types of reviews, reviewing documents online (redlining and
commenting), releasing documents, manual activation of reviews,
modifying review teams, and reporting on review workflows.
Pre-requisites: Completion of course TB01
Duration: 2 Hours
TB04 - Project Administration
This course is designed for those who will be administrating
TeamBinder for a Project.
Topics covered include Project Maintenance; Project Details; Address
Book; Security; Setting up Users; Work Flow for Mail and Documents;
Document Attribute Libraries; Distribution Matrix; Document
Approval; Document Subscriptions; Project Calendar; Broadcasts and
general housekeeping tips.
Pre-requisites: Completion of course TB01 or having sent 50
items of Mail via TeamBinder and uploaded 50 documents.
Duration: 1/2 day
TB05 - Company Administration
The Company Administration course covers a basic introduction to
administrating TeamBinder at a company level. Topics covered include
Address Book; Security; Setting up Users; Distribution Matrix;
Document Approval; Document Subscriptions, reporting and general
maintenance.
Pre-requisites: Completion of course TB01 or having sent 50
items of Mail via TeamBinder and uploaded 50 documents.
Duration: 1/2 day
