DefectInspector’s
Project Inspection and Check List is a seven level work breakdown
structure defining the elements of projects to be inspected and
possible defects that may occur.
The work breakdown structure levels are:
- Building
- Area
- Location
- Item
- Sub Item
- Defect
The ability to define the work
breakdown structure in a hierarchy means that project inspections
are carried out comprehensively and via
DefectInspector inspectors
can be forced to:
- Inspect all items in a room in
a particular sequence
- Assign responsible contractors
to rectify defects
- Enter estimated costs
Project Inspection Lists can be
generated quickly from a standard library with common elements
copied from one part of the hierarchy to another.
Access to the Inspection List by inspectors can be controlled at any
level.
